Munsch/PTM manufacture and distribute a vast range of High Temperature Textiles and offer extreme heat resistant Fabrics and glasscloths for use in a large range of applications  in industries across the UK, Europe and Worldwide.

Whether your requirement is for a simple welding blanket, a Food Quality PTFE coated glass conveyor belt or a complex fabricated valve insulation jacket, we supply it.

 

Our textile range is supplied in coils, strips, sheets, rolls and also cut into gaskets, or fabricated into covers, jackets and connectors.

E Glass cloth treated with an ultra-fine mineral based aqueous dispersion which provides a coating of platelets, which at high temperatures melt to form a protection for the glass fibre.

Our range of rope, yarn and packings is comprehensive in a wide range of materials including E-Glass, Ceramic, Kevlar, Silica and our bio-soluble range.

Manufactered from uniform textured filaments of high bulk ‘E’ type glass fibre yarns resistant to 550°C. Inorganic, sterile and incombustible. Resistant to oils, solvents and most chemicals. Low thermal conductivity typically 0.05W/mk.

We offer a wide range of coatings for our glass cloth including, Neoprene, Silicone, Polyacrylate, PTFE, Vamac®, Polyurethane, PVC, Natural and Viton® including some anti-static grades.

Ceramic blanket is composed of long, flexible, interwoven fibres manufactured by the “blown” and the “spun” process. ECR Glass needlemat is manufactured from 9-10 micron filament ECR glass fibres that are specially carded to produce a high volume mat.

Other stock fabrics include Green canvas, Anti-static Tersteel, White natural nylons, White and blue polyurethane coated nylons, Clear PVC & polyurethanes, Red, white and blue PVC coated polyesters, Needlefelt, anti-static needlefelt & PTFE coated needlefelt, Sanforised cotton and bleached cotton.

High temperature tadpole tape door seals are made utilising special high temperature materials to meet special challenges in machine manufacturing, plant engineering, process industries, industrial furnaces, chimney stove and boiler, furnace, kiln manufacturing and maintenance.
