Our cork and paper range for automotive, train, vibration dampening & machine mounts.
We stock many grades of coated papers and rubber bonded corks to be used in controlled swell required environments. Many applications include the likes of gear box gaskets for automotive applications and transformer and generator set housing gaskets, used in power supply applications.
Our range of cork materials includes Nitrile and Neoprene bonded corks as well as Nebar®, Tico® and BS grades.
Our range of anti vibration cork is carried in thicknesses from 0.8mm to 25mm.
Cork’s unique structure of closed cell construction combined with an elastomer make it effective in insulating vibration. It also has unique noise abatement qualities.
In addition, we also supply laminated cork bushes.
Statite™ and Flexoid™ are very economical gasket/oil papers. Their price factor is important when dealing with original equipment and replacement markets. The materials have excellent oil and fuel resistance
Their prime market is automotive, however they have limited uses in industrial markets because of relatively low heat and chemical resistance compared with non-asbestos materials.
